Wise Up on Well-Being, My Passion is to Inspire...
I am passionate about optimal well-being as well doing as little harm to the planet as possible, I am not a complete hippy, I drive a car that uses petrol and I use electricity in my home, I do however live more consciously than the average New Zealander, and it isn't hard.
I grow my own produce, green waste to the worm farms, decline using plastic as much as possible, and I only buy cruelty free products to use in my massage studio... as well as include many other ways (I could go on, but I hate egotistical preaching) I would rather invite you to visit me for one of the below sessions that speaks to you, so that you may perhaps be inspired.
I know how cheerful and vibrant I feel when I choose to eat mindfully, connect with my body and Mother Earth, and surround myself with positive cheerful people AND on the other hand I also know how lethargic and angry I feel when I do not take the time to honour my bodies own specific spiritual, physical and emotional needs. (No we aren't all the same constitutionally) However we are the same in that our bodies are our temples, they will sustain us through to the end with strength and stamina if, we choose to nourish them with healthful food, adequate rest and exercise and have mindfulness and kindness in everything that we do.
We are born to THRIVE, not just survive. Along the way we may get lost because we stop listening to our higher selves and focus outwardly on material wealth and listen to the media therefor absorbing negativity on a cellular level. We ignore subtle signs from our bodies, we run around with blinkers on hardly stopping to breathe deeply and notice the beauty around us.
I am hoping that these new "Wise Up to Well-Being" offerings will empower, enlighten, encourage and inspire you to make the changes that are needed to thrive in blissful optimal well-being.
Now more than ever, OUR planet wants us to Heal ourselves so that we can in turn Heal HER.
Want to get a jump start on your well-being journey? (here are some ideas)
1. Eliminate Oil from your diet.
2. Eliminate/limit all animal products, yes you heard me, that means eggs, dairy, meat, fish, poultry, lamb, venison, pork (see the resources)
3. Eliminate all processed or overly refined foods. (biscuits, sugars, salt, soft drinks, cakes)
3. Eat: the best quality vegetables and fruits, rices, grains, pulses, legumes - better yet grow your own...
4. Get moving: walk, dance, garden, hike, swim, make love.
5. Express yourself: Start a gratitude journal, write, manifest, draw, paint.
6. Get a friend to join you on your journey, its way more easy to achieve goals when you don't want to let someone else down.
7. Ask your doctor to run a set of blood tests to determine your HBA1c, Cholestrol, Lipids, Kidney function etc
Note: This is by no means a comprehensive list, each person is unique, my advice is to really listen to your body, how does it feel at the moment? Are you sleeping soundly at night? Are your energy levels better after food or before. What is your poop like? Is it regular, daily or weekly... If you are a man, what are your erections like...What are your moods like? Eating healthfully increases positivity too.
